Ms. Nile does her speaking and workshops from a set of core beliefs
which form the basic philosophical underpinnings of her work. The
following are those core beliefs:
- Human beings are capable of relating to each other in mutually
affirming, respectful ways.
- Most people desire and intend to be respectful of others.
- When we are not, it is often because we lack the knowledge,
personal awareness, skills and experiences to do so.
- We can always increase our knowledge, personal awareness, skills
and experiences in order to become more respectful of other human
beings.
- People, of both genders, and all races, cultures, religions,
classes, sexual orientations, physical and mental abilities, and
ages are far more alike than they are different.
- There is but one human family.
